Kenneth Ginlack, LCSW, CSAC, ICS

Executive Director

Ken Ginlack serves as the senior management leader of Serenity Inns, Inc., and is responsible for overseeing the organization's administration, finance, programs, development, donor and external relations, and strategy to fulfill its mission commitment. As Executive Director, Mr. Ginlack works closely with the Board of Directors and is an active member of all standing committees.

 

ADM-INN TEAM

  • Director of Programs & Facilities

    A graduate of Serenity Inns in 2011, Jason has since earned his Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and MBA degrees. As Director of Programs & Facilities, Jason is the senior operations leader of Serenity Inns and responsible for overseeing the three-phased programs and facilities of the organization. He manages the resident selection process and leads addictions counseling and case management for the clients of Serenity Inns and Alumni House. He is also certified in Trauma Informed Care.

  • Executive Assistant

    Alicia provides day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Director and serves as the liaison to the Board of Directors, and various Board committees. Additionally, Ms. Bryant supports Serenity Inns staff by providing general office assistance, such as managing files, ordering and tracking supplies, billing and special projects. Lastly, Alicia serves as a trusted resource for the program residents, answering questions and providing assistance with basic tasks as needed.

  • Assistant Counselor, Innkeeper Assistance

    James serves as the Assistant Counselor and performs additional duties as an Innkeeper when needed. In these roles, James provides one-on-one counseling to the program residents, is the lead instructor for program group sessions, and is involved in the daily operations of Serenity Inns. Mr. Nichols is licensed by the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) as a Substance Abuse Counselor in Training (SAC-IT). He earned an Associate’s Degree with an emphasis on AODA from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He has been trained in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy, and he has been trained to work with individuals in Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF).

INN-KEEPERS

The primary role of the Innkeeper is to provide a “Ministry of Presence,” being visible and available, showing compassion and respect, listening without solving, maintaining accountability, and modeling a responsible lifestyle for the residents.
